-My goal of this piece was to create something made from computer parts, data discs & glass. I wanted to honor the likeness of Edward Snowden, while also focusing on some of the main programs and information found within his leaks. Keeping in line with the security/espionage theme, I decided to add LEDs and a working laptop built into the back of the frame. The laptop, cobbled together in a Frankenstein manner, is running a secure and encrypted operating system called TAILS. Cause why not, right?

I would like to thank the many, MANY other Whistleblowers and Journalists out there that have sacrificed their freedom and lives in order to try and spread information and truth. The results of your actions have not and WILL NEVER be forgotten! Thank you all for your service, sacrifices!
