For too long I have doused my own internal fire. That animal within has been gassed with years of weed and drown in years of alcohol. It started as a creative crutch, to get me where I needed to go mentally as fast as possible. Then it became a coping mechanism as this career got busier and busier. All the while it went unchecked, using metrics like “it’s not affecting my job or my life”..
But it was.
I was at a crossroad.
Give up/restrict these last few “comforts” that I held so dearly, and find out my true potential? Or waste away, comfortable, but in creative mediocrity?
Well..
I think you know my choice.
The animal has been set free.
